His engagements span from consulting for organisations and start-ups, advising think tanks and delivering thought-provoking talks to authoring white papers, drafting policy, developing future-focused learning modules for students, and designing training sessions for educators - all aimed at demystifying AI and its implications.
Rohan has been a pioneer in the field of neuroeducation, bringing the science of learning and the insights of mind-brain research into classrooms since 2012.
He has trained thousands of educators and students on how understanding the brain can transform teaching and learning.
Beyond workshops and keynote talks, he has developed innovative pedagogical frameworks and written extensively on the subject, weaving neuroscience with practical strategies to make learning more effective and meaningful.
His work bridges cutting-edge research with real-world application, inspiring educators to rethink how we teach and empowering students to unlock their full potential.
Rohan has led one of Dubai’s most active astronomy groups for over a decade, fostering public engagement with the wonders of the night sky.
He has taught Astronomy at the university level, prepared students for GCSE Astronomy, and collaborated with planetariums and science organisations to promote astronomy education across the region. As the creator of the Ajyal Space Astronomy Programme for the Saudi Space Commission, he has designed innovative learning experiences that inspire curiosity about the cosmos.
Rohan has delivered numerous talks and written widely on cosmology, space exploration, and the science of the universe. A member of Astronomers Without Borders and of Black Rock Observatory in Nevada, he has hosted astronauts through Café Scientifique Dubai and moderated panels with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Jason Silva and other leading science communicators.
Rohan Roberts is a prolific writer whose work spans future-focused education, philosophy, and the exploration of human potential. His books range from Cosmic Citizens and Moonshot Thinking and RETHINK, which reimagine learning in an age of exponential technologies, to Existential Studies and Emerging Paradigms, which introduce readers to the evolving ideas shaping the decades ahead. He also writes on Zen, Advaita, and Eastern philosophies, offering clear and accessible reflections on consciousness and meaning. Across all his publications, he invites readers to question assumptions, embrace complexity, and explore the possibilities of a rapidly changing world.
From making science accessible to encouraging critical thinking and intelligent optimism, Rohan has founded and led initiatives that bring people together to explore science, technology and the big questions shaping our world.

Rohan Roberts is a systems-level education strategist and AI transformation leader based in Dubai. He currently serves as Global Director, AI and Learning Innovation at AIDEN. Previously, as Director of Innovation and Future Learning at GEMS Education, and Innovation Lead at GEMS X, he architected large-scale digital and AI-enabled transformation across more than 40 international schools.
His work integrates cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and institutional design to help schools evolve from content-delivery models into adaptive, future-ready learning ecosystems. He has led innovation strategy, AI capability frameworks, industry partnerships, and system-wide professional development across one of the world’s largest private education networks.
Beyond his institutional leadership, Rohan is Director of the Dubai Science Festival and founder of Intelligent Optimism and Café Scientifique Dubai. His work sits at the intersection of education, technology, science, and public discourse.
He has hosted and moderated global dialogues on the future of education at Expo 2020 Dubai’s Next Gen World Majlis, contributed to Dubai Plan 2021, and keynoted at LEAP, one of the world’s largest technology conferences. He has also been featured at the World Government Summit as one of six individuals representing advanced skills of the future.
An avid astronomer, Rohan has developed space education programmes for the Saudi Space Commission and serves as Lead Curator at Project Tesseract. His work reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary thinking and long-term human progress in an age of accelerating technological change.
Rohan has a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds, a PGCE from Sunderland University, and a CICTT diploma from the University of Cambridge.
Rohan is a Microsoft Certified Master Trainer, a Google Certified Educator, and has won numerous national and international awards in the field of Education, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
In recent years, he has collaborated with MIT SOLVE, MIT Lemelson, and Harvard's Project Zero. Since 2017, he has collaborated with Singularity University in creating a Global Futures Curriculum about the impact of exponential technologies, accelerating change, abundance mindsets, and disruptive innovations.






Rohan is a prolific visual artist whose oil paintings, acrylic works and digital prints have been exhibited at numerous venues, including Dubai’s historic Bastakiya district and Alserkal Avenue.
Rohan writes on a wide range of subjects, including art, literature, science, philosophy and the human experience.
Rohan’s work and perspectives have been featured in national and international media, including television, print and digital publications.
